's Middags trok The Partybrigade richting Hasselt centrum, vanwege de Jeneverfeesten.
Na het nuttigen van vele jenevers en het bijwonen van leuke toneelopvoeringen, in het ech Hessels dialect, begon de duisternis langzaam maar zeker te vallen (een uur of 17 gaf mijn horloge aan), dus was het tijd om te verkassen naar ons favoriete cafe: The Continuous Poolcafe, alwaar de bediening altijd op en top is dankzij Eske en Dieter!
Dan na het versterken van de innerlijke mens dmv een dubbele Bicky en de nodige drank (Karmeliet + pintjes + Brainfreeze) vonden enkele Partybrigade-leden dat het schoon geweest was en vertrokken richting thuis.
Aangezien de avond nog jong was (rond 22u, als ik mij niet vergis), besloot de harde kern wederom richting stad te trekken om te kijken of er nog iets te beleven viel. Jammer genoeg was er maar 1 fiets voor handen en waren er 3 personen te vervoeren.
No Problemo for The Partybrigade en na enkele, al dan niet geslaagde, pogingen kwamen we allen heelhuids "fietsend" aan op de zuivelmarkt te Hasselt waar jammer genoeg alles op sterven na dood was.
Janny verkocht Kurt nog snel enkele drankbonnetjes, aangezien de eigenaar van het drankbonnetjes-kotje blijkbaar de dag al had afgesloten.
Ondanks het feit dat de jeneverfeesten op hun einde aan het lopen waren (ver erover al tbh), trokken we richting Dusart-plein, doken café De Wijzen in om ook daar het mooie weer te maken en uiteraard nog wat jenever en pintjes te nuttigen.
Een wijselijk besluit om toch maar huiswaarts te keren kwam er nadat ook De Wijzen langzaam leeg begon te lopen, zo rond een uur of 2.
Van 12u tot 02u plezier maken met alle Party-Brigardiers: nothing can beat a day like that!

Moral of the story: You want fun? Just stick with the PartyBrigade!

Makes me realize it doesn't matter what we have to go through. If the PartyBrigade is together, nothing else can make it better.
